INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2 lb ground beef
  2. 1/2 cup diced onion
  3. 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  4. 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  5. 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  6. 1/2 cup tomato sauce
    1 tbsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp cumin
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Shredded cheese and sour cream for topping

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a microwave-safe dish, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper on high for 5-7 minutes, or until beef is browned.
  2. Drain excess fat and add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Microwave on medium for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Top with shredded cheese and sour cream before serving
