Built by a Family. Made for Yours.
The story behind every DoubleWave starts in a kitchen in Oregon, and a problem most of us know too well.
In 2008, Fordyce B. Townes II watched his food go cold while waiting for his wife's plate to finish heating. A designer for over 30 years, he didn't complain, he drew a sketch instead. That sketch became the DoubleWave.
Fordyce never got to see it reach the world the way he imagined. He lost his battle with cancer on October 21, 2022. But his nephew Reggie Reynolds refused to let the idea die with him.
Reggie took the product to Walmart's Open Call, an annual event where entrepreneurs pitch directly to retail buyers, and walked away with an approval. Today DoubleWave is sold across Walmart's retail and e-commerce channels, and ships to homes across America.
Every purchase supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Because Fordyce believed in giving people a chance, and so do we.
