I really like the colors

I really like these Wheat Straw products, I started using them to replace disposable plates. I might still have to wash them but they are sturdier and I don't need to wash them right away, plus I can wash them in the dishwasher. I use them in the home, or on camping trips. Food release from them easily so even at the campsite they clean up easy. I haven't experienced any food that sticks to them so bad that it turns me off from using these plates. I have been using wheat straw products for a while now and I have not broken any or damaged any so far, I have microwaved food on them and continue to wash them in the dishwasher and I am very impressed. Better for the environment, light like a paper plate, decrease carbon footprint and trash. And compared to paper plates, the longer you use them the cheaper the cost. I really recommend them over plastic or paper products or even for people just trying to stock their kitchen on a budget. I use them all the time for my daughter so I'm not afraid of her breaking her plate.

Fabulous looking and well made

These plates are just plain superior and I fully recommend them. They are not flimsy nor are they easy to bend. They are lightweight, but have just enough weight to give you confidence that it will hold your food. I have run them through the dishwasher several times already and they look just like new; no marks or warping at all. I have also used them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes without any issues. The look and colors of the plates are spectacular. I am going to be buying at least one more set for the house.

So versatile!

I recently acquired a set of large wheat straw bowls. I have enjoyed using them so much (especially for salads) that I decided to get a set of 9" wheat straw plates as well. It's amazing just how much more versatile a plate can become by just having a higher lip around the edge. It actually works well for salads, too, along with anything else that might roll off a typical flat plate.These plates are lightweight and easy to clean. The only thing that might not be quite as good is that it doesn't hold heat as well as my stoneware dishes do so food grows cold faster.

Nice plates!

These plates are really nice! Made of "wheat straw," they are dishwasher safe and had no strange odors on unboxing. They are 9 inches, so they work great as a toddler "big plate" or for an adult for a smaller meal, plus the little lip around the edge makes them a nice alternative to pasta bowls. The colors are muted and really attractive. Going back for the bowls now to make my set complete. These would be great for college kids or children, though as an adult I am liking them a lot, too!

I just got these and I instantly loved them! They are thick, but lightweight and they seem very durable. They look really nice and they're perfect for keeping pasta and it's sauce on the plate- which is why I got them. No issues in the microwave or dishwasher- safe for both. Nice and sturdy

I bought this because I thought they would be like cheap plastic and wouldn't stand up since they are made from grass. I was totally surprised and thrilled they are heavy duty, good quality, they don't get marked up when you use knives on them and they seem to be standing up really really well even being put in the dishwasher every day or so! and they don't break when you drop them, at least so far, but I'm sure my family will put that to the test over and over again. they're a little deeper than most plates which makes them excellent for salads or drippy stuff, they feel nice and they look nice. I will totally buy more of these!

Love these Wheat Bowls, they are very lightweight and perfect, for cereals and snacking, just don’t put spaghetti sauce, In them, they will stain, (as you can see In the video), with the lighter color bowl and DO NOT MICROWAVE/HEAT UP THESE WHEAT BOWLS, NO MORE THAN 3 MINUTES. I, only, microwave, In these wheat bowls, vegetables, rice, etc…rather, non-staining foods, just for a quick heating up dishes. If, you do microwave the food, these wheat bowls, does, stay, warm/hot, after microwave, which, I really dig, because, by the time, you, move, from one place, to another, your food gets cold, but, they really, keep your food warm, for a long while. These Wheat bowls/plates, can get really hot, so, be careful.

I carefully read through all the options before purchasing this set. Somehow I got the idea that the plates would be just like plastic plates. I am happy to see they are not at all like plastics.

The colors are a pastel rather than the bright colors I have seen in other brands of plastic plates.

In The past, I have noticed a taste to plastic plates that are supposed to be reusable. It’s hard to describe it, but I know it’s there and that was another partial fear. I had in making the decision to purchase these plates. I’m happy to say I don’t send any taste at all.

My real surprise is how the plates come clean just by rinsing them in hot water. No scrubbing difficulty getting food that is stuck to a plate off of there. It’s wonderful side benefit and my daughter even did it and she said how easy it is.

These plates and bowls are really cool and I'm glad I bought them because they're super lightweight, easy to clean, seem to be really durable, were cheap, look pretty and you don't have to scrub them like 50 million times to get the smell of whatever food you ate previously out like regular plates that seem to want to hold on to the smell longer but I would recommend that you clean them not too long after you actually eat something in them because sometimes your food can kind of stain the material a little bit like other people say but it seems that it will come out later on but sometimes it looks like It might stain your plates or bowls at first so that doesn't really look good but later on I think it does come out but these were definitely worth buying and I'm glad I purchased them for sure.
